Does anyone know, if you are advised to use ICSI in your IvF cycle due to weak sample, does that give you as good a chance of success as if you were having regular ivf with a strong cycle?

Whoops! I meant regular ivf with a strong sample, of course!

Hi

I do not no the chances, but if u had a weak sample and IVF and none fertilised naturally... ud have wished ud had ICSI. It is the better/safer option if u have any male factor issues x x

Hi, I wrote the post precisely because I don't plan to take that risk!  I'm going to make a (difficult) decision based on the facts, if I can get them...

Im sure ur clinic will give u the facts, n advise u.

I do knw some clinics will do 1/2 ivf n 1/2 icsi, so that could b worth asking about!

Thank you hoping I was wondering whether that option existed and I will ask them, though it's only worth it if it's cheaper than 100% ICSI though, of course. Thanks!
