Hi,

I am planning to go for donor egg IVF abroad. I have found a donor but only problem is she had chlamydia infection in the past!!! The doctor abroad says "it's no big deal". But I am very worried about it. Can you please advice if I should go for it or wait for another donor.

as long as she hasnt got it its fine.
most women who need fertility treatment has had the infection in the past which is why some are infertile ...
its normally other infections/ virus/ diseases which donors should be checked with, just make sure she gets screened for it .. unless she has been screened already [ the all clear]

Just to say I would back Sweet Kitty and what she has written. It is current infection which is a problem not past.
