I was wondering if anyone could answer my question. We have early menopause in my family at around age 35.  Following my 2nd iui I had a muzzy head for two weeks that would not go away.  The doctor decided to repeat my FSH.  Now it wasn't a day 2 FSh but a day 7.  My question is if I were to be perimenopausal what should my FSH be and should it be high throught the month.  I know there are self testing sticks out there now that don't say to do on any particular day and they find a level of 25iui - 40 iui of fsh.  So if my fsh were to fall into this category I would be perimenopausal?

MY FSH by the way was 3!

Sorry for rambling.

The only time in a cycle to check your FSH is on day 2-4 so anything else will be an inaccurate picture as the FSH level naturally rises after about day 5 so would give no guidance regarding your chances of going through the menopuase early.
