I am having a scan tomorrow to check if I have ohss, just to put my mind at rest. I am only 5 weeks pregnant, but wondered how likely it is that I would see my embryo/s?

They told me that it is probably too early to see anything, but is it possible?  Just wondered?

Hi Emelda

I would have thought 5 weeks is too early to see a heartbeat .. they may be able to see a sac though.

Good luck for tomorrow - I'm pleased they are looking after you.

Hi,

I had a scan at 5/5.5weeks and you could clearly see a blob! There was a sac and a yolk but no heartbeat as it's too early for this.

Fingers crossed for you,

Hi emalda

You may see a sac but there most likely will not be a heartbeat 6 weeks is considered the earliest point at which this can be seen.
