Hiya girls

Sorry just a short post from me!!

I will update the list later

Just got in from first day back at work

Had acupuncture after work and how lovely was that, but bet that debs dp wouldnt have liked it!!

She has starting using new points which reduce the blood flow and it seems to have helped last week on the left side which is where my pain is so she did it left and right also this week and see how it goes this coming week should be my worst week of the month so will be a good test!!

Any way i just wanted to say that i probably wont be cycling october now

and no i havent used the wrong smiley!!

the reason is yesterday the pct spoke to me and said that pending my fsh level being ok they will fund a full ivf cycle for me hopefully in December!!

So for sake of a month i decided to wait that month as long as fsh comes back ok which we are still waiting on!!

Next decision for us is

jessops or care because pct will let me go with either decisions decisions!!

Just thought I'd let you know my good news - we've got a donor, yippee  Not sure when we start yet, but as AF due this w/end,it could be very soon  Been getting more pains past couple of months - just hope that nasty adenomyoma hasn't grown too big, but guess I'll have to wait til my DR scan to see what's happening.
Em - great news about your fsh and funding - and sounds like the acupuncture is going well too.
to Wiggy and best of luck with the new clinic.

I am still waiting for an appointment at Oxford. my gynae has referred me to mr McVeigh but guess I might get to see one of his team as it is a NHS referral. Letter was sent on July 13th but still waiting for an appointment!!!

Well I am not whingeing as I am going on holiday tomorrow!!!!!!!! My brother is getting married abroad so we are combining it with a holiday! Very excited! He lives in China so I a going to get some genuine Chinese acupuncture and herbs while there so lets hope that this really can be a great new thread for all of us endo girlies!!!

I hope that everyone will have a great time over the next couple of weeks and I will speak to you all next month!!!!

Me again......aren't BA great!!!!!! Due to fly 16.40 so flight has been cancelled! 

We can't get through to the BA helpline so no idea when we will get away now!

Oh well, at least we are at home and not stuck at the airport. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi girls,

well BA can't fly us until next Thursday now!!

So.......we have got booked onto Singapore airlines and are going tomorrow

The journey will take 18 hours now as we have to fly to Singapore and then fly back up to Beijing but at least we get there Monday afternoon. BA could not get us there until Friday morning so definitely the best option!

Anyway you all take care and I really will see you all next month!!!!!

Drew, how are you doing hun?  How is the FET going?

As for me, well I'm feeling a bit down about not having my endo treated.  I really believed (as my previous cons told me) that all my problems were outside the womb and that once embryos had been transferred I had as good a chance as anyone.  It seems that so many girls are having their endo treated proir to ivf which my currect cons normally recommends.  However, he has told me to get that idea out of my head as I cant afford to lose an ovary with both of them being so badly affected.  He toldme untreated endo affects implantation due to toxins    I have stage 4 untreated endo and feel really crap about this next ivf.  I feel my endo is getting worse (though thankfully I manage well without pain killers) and just knowing that it is active is making feel it's fighting off our embryos.

If/when, we use our frosties I'll have surgery prior to ET (if we get that far) as we have decided that this next ivf will be our last.  I've seen 4 cons over our time of if tx and all of them advised against surgery prior to ivf so I guess I have to accept that.  I will need surgery one day, after ivf,  but I'm not having our frosties put back until then.  I'm just hoping we are as lucky as last time and get a couple most frosties.

Has anyone else been been told the same? Sorry for moaning

Hiya girls

How is everyone

Wasnt the weekend weather lousy!!

How typical everyone at work today and the sun shines!!

Since my last acupuncture session i havent been too good in all honesty

My af was due perhaps yesterday (they guessed i ovulated early) but so far it hasnt showed up altho typicaly isnt due until weds so prob accounts for all the pain i have been having!!

Have resorted to Oramorph the last few days
Only taking one dose a day so still improvement but the nights are the worst i got to sleep this morning at 530 ish and was up again at 7am for work

I have had a hard weekend as on friday.......

DH sent me a bouqet of 24 red roses to work and i wondered what are these for well i know now!!

Then went for a meal with sister in law motherinlaw and nephew and had cakes and coffee at the mother in laws and when i got back home my lickle Baby Bouncer not that shes that lickle now was not herself

She kept whining and laying in the hall which she never does ever shes always by my side, anyway in interval decided to pop into bath, and she came upstairs with me, and whined and so i knew something wasnt right

One of her ears was completely oozing
she had this last year as well around same time

I was up almost all night with her and the next day was bathing them when dh came in i said i am worried he said u r always worried about the dog!!

After words harshly spoken some about tx too we took her to the vet

The vet said to us have u been putting anything in her ears i said well only cleaning them she said what with i said warm water and baby bath she said not with bovril or anything like that

I just sat and thought who would do that

Anyway she had anti inflamm injection
she had anti biotic injection
got some ear cleanser
and some anti biotic ear drops and see how she goes

Have been so worried about her so need to catch up on sleep

Still awaiting th fsh results

DH rang the gynae sec again today and she said that the lab would send the result to us before them, this i had never heard of before

Shes chasing up again and treating as urgent
DH has to ring back in morning and she hopefully will be able to tell us the result

Bladder and bowel are both playing a merry dance atm
Pain on peeing and now i have gone into retention oooops
and bowels are well just normal pre period bowels!!

Will do some personals tomorrow

Must go medicate the doggy!!

Hello ladies

Sorry I have been a bit quiet cause I was having crappy weeks - 2 weeks in a row of injections - prepping up for this FET cycle.  Good news is I ovulated yesterday because the drugs finally worked.  It was a good enough ovulation but GODDDDD it hurts.  Felt like my bladder and bowels are going to blow up together. 

And Nature expects us to have a bonk.....I couldn't even sit down.

First thing first - Em - amd really excited for you about the funded cycle end of the year - that is excellent news.  I hope this is a good omen already.

And Jaq - EXCELLENT news on finally finding your donor.  Must tell you a friend of a friend, who recently embarked on their final IVF cycle after two previous attempts, got pregnant with donor eggs - she just turned 46.  I am so jealous but it is such encouraging news.  This lucky lady is expecting a pair of healthy twins.   I wish you all the best and hope this donor works well with you guys!

And Bec - I am also concerned about my endo - although some doctors believe in getting surgery done before a cycle - some don't (including my current new doctor) - a girl I know here with severe endo (stage IV) with elevated CA125 levels and massive internal injuries due to adhesions just gave birth to her IVF baby.  Her cysts were fairly large even when they were doing ET - but once she got pregnant the cysts size reduced and didn't bother her too much throughout her pregnancy.  Fingers crossed for you - don't feel too down about it - hang in there matey!

I actually have ET scheduled for this saturday providing if my remaining embryos survive the thaw.  I don't know how to talk about it beacause I find it easier to cope if I pretend nothing is happening.  I am feeling optimistic - but just barely.  I will keep you girls posted.  Officially it will be our 8th attempt.  If this one falls through we will be doing a fresh cycle with the new clinic - conducting preimplantation testing on the embryos to make sure there are no abnormalities.

Em hunni  I am sorry to hear about your pooch hun, I hate it when our furbabies are ill, its just a nightmare because you dont know what to do for them..... As for the bovril thing........ how bizzarre was that 

I hope you enjoyed your roses hunni......... and glad to know your on top of chasing your FSH results.... and what a pain that your not sleeping again, I dont know how you do it, i certainly couldnt!!

Hun when i was dx many moons ago, I was told the 'only' cure for Endo was to get pregnant or have a hysto, so maybe thats why they are not going to do anything about it, sounds likely with what Drew was saying about her friend?!?!?!

Hi everyone,
sorry i haven't been on line recently but been pretty busy at work and have just stated doing a course as well so stuck doing essay work all the time   I'm sending you all loads of luck with forthcoming treatments etc- i get so lost when i read all your ivf stuff and its sounds so stressful but somehow you all manage to keep positive even when you're having a bad day. It makes me feel so much better knowing that i'm not alone with all this though i agree with you that we deserve some good news on the board for sure

Well still on my detox which is going ok. The diet and herbs have cured my thyroid condition as the levels are back to normal which is great news. Thing is i had a pelvic scan at the weekend and it shows 3 small cysts(1cm each) which i thought was ok.  My gp is wanting me to see my gyne though and was talking about doing a  lap etc. i said no way not for such small cysts but off i go again for naother appointment. I'm never away form doctors and specialists and always having to take time off work which is alwful Luckily work are very supportive but i feel like a hypochondriac!!! Anyway i also got a new level of ca125 done and its gone from 38 to 47 since may which isn't good.  My doc is now worried i might have cancer so my anxiety levels are rocket high.  can any of you tell me about ca125 and what levels are really high and whether all women with endo have high levels. Does this mean my endo is growing at a massive rate?

trying not to panick but i am a stress bunny so talk of cancer etc doesn't help.  I think my gp is just being extra careful but now i ahve to wait and see the gyne on friday.  Luckily here in oz you don't have to wait long for appointments because you pay for most of them.

Hope some of you girls can reassure/answer my questions

DH asked this morning when are we going to, i said not in the next week darlin!!

AF is officially due tomorrow and its been sending signs of it for a good few days and felt sick most the day so not long to go i think!!

Andrea cant help with the ca125 levels as i was never given mine just told borderline and not much to worry about

I finally got the fsh level results today

or rather DH got them

We are now awaiting a call from pct to check if they will still fund us because they are higher than they want

Felt rather deflated but dh is keen to explore avenues that may reduce it and said perhaps ur body wasnt back to normal from the op i dont know hes suggested getting gp to re run the bloods this month but i dont really know if it would show a different result

Ok so not as bad as they could have been but not as good as the pct want

Time will tell

Drew, it's lovely to hear from you and thank you for the story about your friend with stage 4 endo (same as me), I was pleased to hear it.  I have everything crossed for your FET.  I can well understand you trying not to think about it.  I'm really preying for you hun 

Andrea, please dont panic, I'm sure your doctor is being cautious.  Why dont you ask for a telephone consultation with your dr asap to discuss your concerns.  I'm sorry but I dont know anything about the blood test results.  I know it's easier said than done but please dont panic and try to get to speak to someone soon, even it's before any more tests are.

Debs, thanks for your supportive words, I think you are right that really there is no effective tx for endo apart from pg or hysterectomy.  I'm lucky really because I'm not too troubled (though I do get quite swollen) by my endo atm so I tend to forget it is stage 4.

Em, I hope you can get your tx now hun.  It's horrible waiting isnt.

I'm feeling a bit edgey atm as AF is due tomorrow so I've got a bit of pmt.  DP was winding me up before so I calmly asked him 3 times not to.  He also started nipping in fun (Iguess you would have to have been there to know what I mean) well, I just went mad.  I have been telling him for a couple of days that I've been feeling a bit PMTish so I cant beleive he is surprised.  I know it's not an excuse but I just dont feel like being wound up atm.  He asked me what was wrong and told me I had no sense of humour!!!!  I told him he's right, I have no sense of humour but I did remind that I did ask him to stop.  I know I'm feeling tense and I wish I did nt feel like this but I aways talk to him about it and all he can do is behave like a little boy.  I just want him to have a normal adult conversation with me.  I'm soooo cross  with him

Hiya everyone

Becca......... i have been pretty pmtish the last few days

Tonight just after i said to dh my af was due today he said thought so because u belly is huge

I went in the bath and then slept for most the evening bit of catch up there!!

Men huh!! cant live with them cant live without

I am not sure if AF is trying to make an appearance, had the crampy pains, which i was told i wouldnt get now i am endo free headaches which is a tell tale sign, then tonight be4 my bath i have had pinky and brown discharge it only happens when i go to toilet for wee though bladder been playing up a bit so not sure if its af or if bladder symptoms

Bowels have been horrendous around the same time as well u would think by now i would know what my bod is doing but i think it likes to keep me guessing!!

got day off tomorrow!! Yes!!

Drew keeping everything crossed for u and sending u for saturday

Still waiting to hear back from care to see if they will take me

If af hasnt arrived by tomorrow pm will go to gp armed with urine specimen to check it out

Hope CARE get back to you with a favourable outcome.  Do you know, after 3 IVFs I've NEVER had my FSH levels checked!!  and I'm with CARE    To be honest, I dont think I want to know now, I'm frightened it will depress me.

I think it sometimes only takes a little bit of endo to cause loads of pain, especially in the bowels.  I was amazed at the relief I got after the cons just cut a small bit of scare tissue 

Anyway...fingers crossed for hun for your decision for tx.  Is it care at Notts?

I am booked to go to their opening evening in october obviously if fsh is a prob we wont go

the prof in sheffield is still hopeful tho so thats something at least

One thing that bothers me is when i had my op 8 weeks ago OMG how time flies!!

I never had  bowel prep they never looked at the bowel but the prof at sheffield told me and dh that i was typical bowel endo case which makes me wonder if that could be whats causing the pain

mmmm no acupuncture this week i was told if there wasnt any improvement this week to think about whether if i want to continue have debated it and will ring and make appt for next week i dont think it can make thingsany worse to be honest
