Hi Ruth,

I have been told that I may have endometriosis.  I also have PCOS.  Does this mean that chances of getting pg are now even slimmer?????

It would depend on how bad the endo was and how much of the ovary was affected as this would affect the ovaries chances of stimulating to drugs if needed. If you are ovulating on medication then it shouldn't reduce chances but if they need to consider taking things further to IUI of IVF then endo would affect stimulation if widespread.

Hi tweetiepie

I have pcos and endometriosos

It varies from person to person and how widespread the endo is.

Have u had a lap to diagnose the endo??

If not then i think that this is something that could be beneficial so that ur specialist will be able to identify what problems could lay ahead.

Not all ladies with endo have problems conceiving.

I do know of a few success stories.

IM me if u need to chat

Hi Tweetiepie

I hope you don't mind me telling you that I had a lap done before starting tx which revealed that I have PCOS and Endo with Endo on both ovaries.  I thought my chances of getting pregnant were not very good and I felt really low about it.  It seemed every time I had a scan done during tx another problem would be revealed!

BUT, on a more positive note I have just given birth to a beautiful baby girl following Ovulation Induction tx.  Clomid did not work for me and I was on my last cycle of OI before trying IVF.

I can really sympathise with what you are going through but never give up hope.

Good luck.
