Hi there, i am about to embark down the route of ICSI and wondered if anyone has experienced the same - where there DP has had a failed vasectomy reversal  :( I never ever thought id be in this position, always thought that when the time came for me i wouldnt have any problems concieving and now here i am facing ICSI. so far i have had my blood tests through my gp, and a scan last week that showed i have cysts on both my ovaries, and one of them was enlarged, i left the hospitals in tears as i wasnt expecting to hear that...and was totally worried what that meant, since spoken to my gp who assures me that she is not concerned and has referred us to the hospital for our ICSI which we are hoping will start in the summer (but i have no idea at this stage if there is a waiting list or not) my DP had the op last may so this has been going on since we got his negative test results back in sept and again in december... everything seems like it takes forever or is it just me? i am very much looking forward to getting started and the waiting about drives me insane as im not very patiant - i am seeing a homepathic consultant which i hope will help keep stress and anxiety levels at bay and have met with people who have been through IVF so that i can prepare myself as much as possible mentally  :) i am still clinging onto hope that maybe - just maybe it is taking his sperm longer to show and that by miracle chance we may fall pregnant without having to go through this, has anyone experienced this? any feedback will be most appreciated!! btw i am 28 and not really sure what else to write as this is my first post  :)
Thanks everyone !! :)

WELCOME TO FF

mandypandy2

Wish i could say the waiting gets easier but it doesnt :( it is very frustrating and a long drwan out process, will keep my fingers crossed for the waiting list to be a short one.

Wanted to say Hello and welcome you to FF, my role here of FF as a MOD is to make sure you find your way as easy as possible, hopefully this message will do that :) Am so glad that you have found us, hopefully you will meet like minded people that will help and support you through what can be a very hard stressful journey. There are many members here on FF with a true understanding of what you are going through at all stages that infertility throws at you :( FF has brought so many people together and helps form many new friendships that may last many years, I certainly have and my life is richer for it. It's hard when family and friends don’t fully comprehend what the IF journey entails and the emotions that go with it, That’s where FF comes in to play.
I hope that you will find the links i have left you helpful and direct you where you need to be until you find your feet, which won’t be long i can assure you. If there is anything that you still need to find give me or any MOD a shout and we will be happy to help you :)
