Can your FSH come in higher than you would 'normally' get after an IVF or Clomid cycle?

Yes, as if there are some hormones still lurking in the body then the level could be raised. I always think it is best to have a clear month before repeated bloods.

Thanks Ruth,

I feel better now.  Should I be concerned then with a Day 3 FSH of 9.6 (my clinic measures 2.8-14.4mIU/ml (usually I'm around 7) after two months of Clomid?

Also, is FSH tied in with TSH levels?

Thanks!

I always prefer a day 2 blood and I think that would have ben around the 6 or 7 mark as the FSH can start rising quite quickly in the cycle so you sound normal!!!

Thanks Ruth- now I'm relieved!  Now that you mention the day 2 I just remembered that when I was doing my workup for ICSI it was always day 2 (and I usually had the 7 range), now for IUI- my new RE asked for Day 3....
