hi, i work in a sec school, and at the moment we have both mumps and german measles around. is there anything to be wary of while ttc?? i also work with a lady who is 12 weeks pg - should she be concerned??

Difficult to avoid people when you work in a school. As long as you and the other lady were immunised for Rubella, you should be fine on that one. Mumps, if you've had it then your risk is lower but not non-existant as you could get shingles instead.

i personally have never had mumps, its the one thing that has escaped me. as for german measles i think it was the rubella injection i had in my last year of school - 10 years ago. thanks for the reply.
