I'm  nearly 16 weeks preg with first child and i'm suffering terrible from Hayfever (have done since a child)

I had to call in work sick today due to being so bad last night and lack of sleep.

I've tried everythin, Vaseline up my nose, Vicks, hay max remedy(wax to stop pollen up nose) and breathe right strips.
I also have an inhaler due to the asthma.

My question is this.. and i know it's not an easy one.

Is it ok to take a small dose Piriton? I read elsewhere piriton is better to take than others eg clarityn as they are not safe.
I thought maybe i could try a children's piriton to help ease but im not sure this would do any good.

I know you've been asked hayfever q's before but GP is nt much help and i guess it looks like ill havw to put up with it until sept :(

Hi

it is difficult but I doubt there is anything you can take. Speak to your pharmacist, he/she may be able to help.

Let me know

Take care x

DH talked to chemist today.  They were sitting on the fence saying he could buy it but they wouldn't give him any advice.
I think i'll have to grin and bear it and if any worse will go to GP

Thanks again
