I would like some help on this too please  ^pray^ . Phoebe seems to suffer with really bad hay fever.  She has got a permanent snotty/running nose, sneezing etc and has a hacking cough.  Took her to doctors last week and he thought it was hayfever.  (She was the same last summer too).  He's prescribed Cirtirozine in liquid format as she is under 6.  However, he told me it could make her drowsy and it seems to be having that effect.  She has fallen asleep twice today and then it is hard to get he to bed at bedtime.  I'm not sure if it is the medicine or maybe the heat/hayfever knocking her out.

Any other suggestions for medicines - natural or conventional gratefully received. Thanks.

With adults its thought a spoonful of local honey a day can help but it has to be from local bees. Not sure if this helps children and I can't give honey to my dd yet but I sure will be.

I do think its the blossom trees in the park as she is fine on the decking in the garden with no bloSsom tree near by

DAY - I have sodium chromoglicate drops for Jack's eyes from our GP (you can also buy this over the counter for age 2 years and over) and use Boots own brand of hayfever / allergy relief. It's once a day, tastes better than the branded version and is also non drowsy. Lots of chemists do their own brand which is a lot cheaper. I got him seen by my GP to establish a diagnosis first. xx

Kara - this link may help http://www.goodtoknow.co.uk/health/galleries/28104/Top-10-natural-hay-fever-remedies . She'll soon be able to have honey and the vasaline tip may help. Also your GP may be able to prescribe something to help as they can prescribe medications for the under 2's that state they are for 2 years and over ;)
