Hi,
I am about to have my first IUI tomorrow and I was just wondering, like you do, I understand that all of our bodies are likely to react to fertility drugs in different ways, this said then how do we know that the hcg is definitely going to make eggs release at the same time for every one?
Sorry to be a pain, I'm just curious and a little worried that i might ovulate to soon and wreck our treatment!
thanks lilly2k3

The trigger injection can work slightly differently on each woman as ovulation can occur anything between 24 and 40 hours after having it but mainly about 36. The insemination can be carried out either before ovulation or after, it doesn´t matter.

thank you for the reply.
I was just wondering why they did not scan just before iui was carried out as i was also told that you only have 11 hours after ov to fertilize the egg or its to late.
anyway thanx again
