Am so glad to have found this website!  I have just gone through the first month of Natural IVF which has been quite a learning curve!
Was getting REALLY worked up about whether or not we stand any chance of it working etc as we have only had one embryo transferred and been reading up on implantation etc. 
Was searching for stuff and found this site and been reading a few of the posts about peoples experiences which has been really great!
I thought I was the only person checking my knickers every 10 seconds! 
The reason we are going through IVF is that after I had my daughter via C-Section 7.5 years ago, scarring was blocking my tubes. I have had an op that was meant to fix that and now 4 years on and we are finally embarking on Natural IVF.  I have got until Monday before we find out about this cycle and am trying to forget about it and carry on normal life but its definitely easier said than done!  Just really would love to hear from people about their experiences and if anyone has done Natural IVF be great to hear how you got on.

Hiya - natural ivf involves monitoring by scans of your follicles and then when a follicle is "ready" you are given a HGC injection and then you go for egg collection done under sedation.  If egg is collected successfully they then fertilise it and if this creates an embryo you then go for the transfer a couple of days later (3 days for us).  We are now at the waiting to find out stage.  I'm not sure how long it will take to work but I know that if it doesn't work this month we can do the same again next month.  We are with Create Health in London - seems a good clinc.  Since transfer have incections each day and a pessiry but that is it on drugs front xx

Sorry to butt in your thread. But I just wondered with the natural IVF presumably the cost is slightly lower due to not having drugs before (I am a poor responder but do ovulate). However the cost of sedation etc. and EC would be the same?? I am just wondering if it would be a good option for me.

Natural IVF is definitely cheaper - this month cost us around 2100 as fewer drugs.  It takes the pressure off a bit as we can afford a few goes xxx  GOOD LUCK xxxx
