Hi ladies,
I have a question. I have been taking herbs and vitamins for the past year. I've had no luck yet  and am moving on to IVF probably in September. Does anyone know if I can continue with the herbs? I have been taking alfalfa, soya lecithin, liquorice, false unicorn root and red raspberry.  I have stopped taking them this week as I would rather not take them unless I'm sure that they're ok to take.  My IVF drug will be menopur.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi.  I'm not an expert but, just to be on the safe side, I would definitely steer clear of the herbs in the lead up to and during your IVF as they may counteract the hormones you will be taking during your treatment. I took agnus castus before my first IVF cycle, but stopped it about eight weeks before I started d/r. Good luck.  Ellie.

Hi Leah,

As Ellie says, I would steer clear of the herbs while undergoing IVF, incase they mess with your hormones - if you're worried, do have a word with your clinic.  :)

Wishing you the very best of luck  ^reiki^ ^reiki^
