Hello, 

I was wondering if anyone out there might be in the same situation as me and my DH (Rob).

We have been trying to have a baby for 3 years.  Tests proved that I have polycystic ovaries and my DH
a below average sperm count.  We had 3 cycles of clomid which failed.  We have just started IUI.
I had my 9 day scan on Thursday which showed that I had no follicles ready, has this happened to anyone else?
I have to carry on with the injections (puregon) until Sunday and go back Monday for another scan. 
I am slightly worried that they still won't be ready. 

I would love to hear from and make friends with anyone who is going through the same thing.

Ive not had IUI but I have had a poor response to medication during my IVF cycles
I'm not sure what the answer is, do you know what your hormone test levels were ? ie FSH, LH and E2
the other factor to maybe ask about or look into is your thyroid levels,

Hi Gemma

Welcome to FF.I'm a newie myself.

I've just finished my 1st cycle of IUI.I have PCOS and my DH (paul) and i have been trying for 7 years and tried several different treatments.

Keep your chin up and good luck with everything.All women react differently to puregon.I only managed to produce one egg which i was devastated about. Unfortunatley my IUI didn't work and i do my 2nd at the end of May.It's such a stressful thing to go through and i hope that like me you have many friends and family to support you.

Would love if you would let me know how you get on.

Hi,

Thanks for welcoming me to FF and for the advice given. I was quite nervous about my first post as I have never done anything like this before.  I am very pleased that people actually replied.

I had my second scan this morning and still no eggs, well there was one, but it was too small.
I have to go back on Thursday, if its still not good then have to have blood tests done.  Getting fed up with the injections and feeling quite deflated by it all now.

Alisha, sorry to hear your IUI didn't work, wish you lots of luck for your second try. Let me know how you get on.
I like you do have close friends and family that I talk and it is a great help but non of them really know what its like.
Anyway, I will keep my fingers crossed for everyone.
