Hi everyone.
I am new to this site although i do post on a few other forums.
A bit of backround history about me... I am 29 and dh is 30. We married in Dec 09 and discovered i was pregnant a wk later.
Sadly started bleeding in January and had early scan. pregnancy was ectopic and had ruptured tube so was rushed to theatre and had left tube and our baby removed. We waited a few mths before trying again and in July discovered we were expecting again.
Was sent for early scan and once again our baby had grown in my one remaining tube, so emergency surgery again to remove right tube.

So now we are obviously unable to get pregnant naturally so have to have IVF. my weight is a issue at the moment and i need to lose 2.5 stones to get my BMI to 30 and be accepted for NHS funding. I have lost 2 stones so far and plan to lose the rest and get on the list by middle of march latest, so hoping that means we can start a cycle in may/june, but not sure on waiting times etc.

I am looking forward to getting to knw u all and pray 2011 is the year we all have our dreams come true xxx

to FF, Africanqueen! This is a great website for support, information, laughter and friendship, it has kept me (relatively!) sane though all my treatment. Have a good look round the site, post in whatever section you want and make yourself at home. There are so many sections here with a huge amount of information, so whatever you are going through there will be someone here to help you.

I am so sorry to hear about your ectopic's, how heartbreaking for you and your DH. I had to lose weight for my treatments as well. 2 stone is a fantastic weight loss, congratulations! With that motivation I am sure you will get rid of those few extra pounds soon!
