Hi,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. Looking for some advice please. I have some edible rice paper stickers to go on top of some fairy cakes that I want to bake for my son's birthday. I am not a great baker and was wondering what would be the best way to 'stick' them to the cake? Is it best to do glace icing?

What else would you recommend?

Thanks so much-would really appreciate any replies.

I would just use a drop of any icing. You could use jam or honey, but they wont set like icing .

I used butter icing when I did some for ds1's birthday but you could use normal icing. I think normally you're better off putting them on something white to bring out the colour.

Yeah something white is best. I used butter cream (betty crocker!) for DS1 and that was fine
