If you have been seen by an andrologist, this is the best person to ask as he is specialised in male fertility issues. It unfortunately maybe that if there are no cells there are no sperm to grow even in culture. I defiantely feel you need to speak to a speacialist about this so you know what your options are.

Hi Paul

My Dh has the same.  There was no sperm in his sample and he went to see a urologist who did a biopsy wich confirmed he only had primitive sperm cells and therefore we are now on our 3rd attempt at IUI using donor sperm.

When doing the biopsy they can sometimes find a teeny weeny bit of sperm which means you could poss do ICSI.

Like the professional Ruth says best to speak with a specialist.

Hi Paul,

My DH had a testicular biopsy which was incubated overnight and they were able to find sperm.

Have you had any hormone tests yet as it can be possible to work out a little of what the problem is from your levels?

Hope that this helps. Please feel free to add more info here if you have any.

With warmest regards,
