Hi Jeanette

Jasmine had her second lot of jabs today.

With her first set she was grizzly before bedtime and we tried to give her some Calpol but she doesn't like the strawberry flavour.

I have bought some Medised (3mth) which I had decided to try for her instead as I am told there is no flavour. I forgot to mention it to the nurse and I remember as we left she advised to give Jasmine some Calpol.

Is there a reason to suggest Calpol after jabs or will the Medised be ok?

Thanks for your help.

Just noticed that Medised is also strawberry.

Jasmine is teething too at the moment ... which would be the best to use?

Many thanks

Hi Lynn

where has the time gone !

calpol- contains paracetamol

medised- contains paracetamol plus a drug that aids restful sleep.

Its really personal preferance. I know she doesnt like the taste, but its really worth trying to give her one of them via a syringe.

Normally for the jabs, the calpol on its own is enough. But as Jasmine is also teething, it is likely that her sleep will be disturbed.

hope this helps

love
