HI

I've got a Fluid Ultra Sound booked (to check if I have fibroid or uterine irregularities) AND an HSG booked to see if my fallopian tubes are blocked.

Is it necessary to have both these tests? Is one better than the other?

thanks

Sorry to say, an aqua scan does not check the tubes and the HSG does not check the womb! Some places do what is called a Hycosy which is under ultrasound and checks tubes and they then go onto check womb with aqua scan straight away, but not every where does this yet.
