Dear Drat,

So sorry to hear about the miscarriages.

Here are a couple of links to Dr's who deal with miscarriage and implantation failure in the UK. Dr Beer visits the ARGC clinic each month and Dr ******* has a variety of clinics (one NHS).

The recurrent miscarriage clinic at St Marys (as suggested by Jen) is a great place to start but they do not support the immunology angle. However, that doesn't matter if that is not your problem...

The glossary on this website is here

Good luck!

Hi Drat,

I have seen both Dr Beer and Dr ******* without any form of GP referrel. Both have waiting lists but you can always ask for a cancellation - that worked for me.  You can usually phone consult with Dr Beer if he is not in the UK for a while.

If you want medical tests to try and pinpoint the reason for the miscarriages both will offer these.  Dr Beer offers more tests than Dr *******.

However, medical knowledge of repeat miscarriage is not wide or well understood. When you see one of these doctors you enter an area that the UK NHS does not accept due to the lack of evidence based trials.

Good luck with your Harley St doctor! Hope that you get some better answers and are saved the pain of another mc.

You know where to go for another opinion if you want to try elsewhere.  Pls let us know how you get on.

With warmest regards,
