i have also found it difficult to get real advice from Dr's and clinics. Dr's haven't the time or funding and clinics have the added necessity of needing patients money to continue their practices.
i have had one MC following ivf and was told normal lines from "professional" people, such as meant to be or try again(as they want my money)
you may know this already but there is something i think is called genetic testing where both partners can be tested for chromosomal abnormalities. this can be done by your GP but they do their best to say they can't,or you can pay for it at ivf clinics which costs around 80 pounds (per person i think). I've found if you want to get a more unbiased but general opinion the best thing to do is look on the net.
