Hi,

Sorry to bother but i am a little concerned.  I had iui last friday after my hcg injection last thurs.  I have had minor discomfort since the sat after the iui which i understand to be mormal.

I am now almost a week post iui and in the last couple of days my tummy has gotten very swollen (I look pg - go figure!) and I am no longer able to do my work trousers up properly.

I guess I'm just wondering if this is normal as the swelling only started tues.  I know i had quite a few smaller follicles that weren't big enough to ovulate.

Is there anything i can do to get rid of the swelling?Or is this a positive sign for me?  I am now 6 days post iui.

If you have any ideas your help is much appreciated.

Your body sounds like it is just reacting to what´s gone on and now is reacting to an increase of progesterone in your body which starts to be released and increases from when you ovulate. If you had more than one large follicle then this would also make sense as more progesterone is being produced than normal.
