Hi there,....Just a quick question....
This will be my first IVF starting in MAY......had a consultation 3 weeks ago, and was told they will write to my G.P about the drugs.. (i'm nhs)
she told me to leave it 2/3 weeks and then go and see my g.p...So i've made app to see him on Wednesday....
I'm just wondering what will happen now,....will he hand me over a prescription for them on wednesday, or does he have to order them specially in for me?,....or do i have to take a prescription to the chemist and get them ordered in myself.
How does it all work?

I'm NHS, slightly worried now incase i wont have enough time to get them ordered, how long roughly does it take?
cos if i'm getting the prescription of f the g.p on wednesday, that will only give me about 6 weeks to get these drugs before my start date....
is it likely to take any longer then 6 weeks, or is that plenty of time?
