:p Sorry for the long title.
Went to get blood test and scan today following down reg and 7 days of hrt, womb lining is "good" at 9mm but hormone levels are "slightly low" according to clinic. Quetsion is, now they have asked me to increase the HRT tablets from 2mg a day to 8mg a day from today and I have to go back monday for another blood test to check this has helped.
Is 8mg a day very high?
Is it different for each person?
Don't know my level as they did not tell me.
Should I worry as my womb lining is described as "great" by the nurses.
Just another excuse to worry i think.
Anyway, sorry for droning on. Hope you nursies are all well and happy.
Love

I have never checked recipient's blood levels in egg donation cycle, just looked at endometial thickness and that is the best indicator as to how things are going. Have had recipient's who have mainly used between 4 and 6mg daily but on occasion gone to 8mg, it's just dependant on what each individual woman needs but as I said we determine that from thickness not bloods. My advice, hang on in there, sounds like you are doing fine.
