I have had one cylce of ICSI, which was unsuccessful and am due to start another in December.

This time I have been prescribed 21 days of the pill beforehand but I am unclear as to why this is, can anyone explain why it might be.

I am due to visit clinic in November to discuss drugs but was wondering if anyone else had also been prescribed.

Also do you know if I will start pill on 1st day of AF in the month of december, or will I be taking the pill before this in order to begin buseralin on the 1st day of AF, as I did with previous cycle.

thanks DMK

Pill is normally started around day 1 of cycle before down regging but can also be taken from day 5 and then downregging started on day 21. It is used for 2 reasons; get rid of any cysts if been a problem before or to regulate cycle prior to starting.
