Dear Nurses

On my third IVF due to start soon, I'm on a buserelin protocol. I'm used to doing the Menopur myself but have read on my hosiital timetable that the Buserelin is sub cutaneous and wondered if that is done differently to Menopur? Can I use the autoinjector?

Thanks

Hi Ginger

I'm not a nurse but i used buserelin on both my cycles. I injected it each day into alternate thighs with an auto-injector and it was a doddle!

Good luck with the IVF!

hi Ginger,
Sub-cutaneous just means under the skin.As the other girls have said just pinch a bit of skin and inject the drug into it.

good luck
