Hiya,

I am currently 4 days into the 1st week of a 2ww,it was my first IUI. Ever since the basting I have had a headache every day,I use head stick as I am wary of taking anything for it,is it safe to take paracetomol in the 2ww?? Also I have had terrible heartburn in the last 2 days and just wanted to check if I could take something for it-I never normally suffer from heartburn and I wasnt bothered about it until today as it's quite bad !!

hi Kelly are you taking progesterone ie cyclogest as the progesterone relaxes the stomach and the acid can attack the food pipe you can take gavoston for this and will not harm the baby if you concieve in the 2ww, also you are able to take pracetomol and this also will not hurt the pregnancy or chances of plantation but if you are still unsure ask a pharmacy the are very good at advising you

I am not taking anything at the mo,I just had IUI on tues and was told to test in a couple of weeks-just wish I could turn my brain off.
