Hi all,

We have recently found out my husband has immotile sperm :'( , can anyone explain what this is, and if there are any ways to reverse the effect? my Dh sperm count is 40 million but hardly any are swimming in the right direction!!!! :) does any of you out there have a DH/DP with this ? He has stopped drinking and currently giving up smoking but we were wondering about vits and supps that may boost his motility? Would be grateful for any info as our GP is pants!!!! We havent been referred yet because DH has to do another semen sample on Oct 9th.

Thankyou for any info you can share xxxxx

Hiya

immotile sperm mean that they can't swim. sort of like when a human is paralsyed. This means they cannot swim to the egg.

not so good with the second part of your ques but have seen numerous posts about this before and a very good article link . maybe one of the others can point you in the right direction!

Good luck

Mxx

Hi Woppa....

Zinc is the recomended vitamin for men and their sperm counts, try to make sure you get one that is as pure as poss, not just one from the chemist as they tend to be made up of loads of rubbish, try this website they are really good and if you need any help you can call their nutritionists they are
