Hi all, just found your wonderful site 

Could you answer a question?...

I have medical conditions including PCOS that mean that I am not easily able to conceive. I also have familiaral CHD which means that carrying a child is very dangerous to me (as I would have to cease drug therapy throughout pregnancy). I have tried and failed at IVF and now a cousin has offered to carry a baby on my behalf.... the question is....

Is it possible for this to happen? Would it be like IVF but with a different womb? What treatment would she require (considering it would by my egg)?

Any help would be great...

Hi and welcome,

I'm unsure of the answer to your question, i'm sure it can be done, well i've seen and read that women have done this for another woman. I know your cousin and you will have to go through counselling and so on.
