Hi

My name is Nicola, and DH and I have been ttc for over 5 years (although it feels like 20!) I have endo and also some not very good antibodies in my blood that don't help, - DH is a healthy specimen (pardon the pun!)
We have been through the usual clomid, iui etc and last year opted for IVF which then changed to ICSI at ARGC in London. I also had extra treatment consisting of infusions of 'good' antibodies to combat my bad ones which is a new treatment that has come over from the States and is pioneered by Alan Beer, a leading immunology specialist. this treatment is very expensive and my one cycle last year ended up costing us around £8k!!
The treatment resulted in 2 + tests but my hormone levels didn't continue to rise, and in the end I wasn't pregnant.
We do have 5 frosties which we will probably use early next year.
I would love to hear from others going through the same process, or anyone else who has been to Mr Taranisi at ARGC.
Also we have heard so much about the 'one free treatment' from the NHS but I don't know how to go about getting it (if it exists at all!) as my NHS consultant has told me there is no waiting list in my area (Hemel Hempstead). Anyone have any info??

Bye for now
Nicola
