Hi just posting to let u no a little about me.

Been married to my DH for 2.5 years and have been ttc pretty much since then with no luck.  After EVENTUALLY being diagnosed with PCOS, and finding out my DH sperm is normal, I feel the buck lies with me.  I am currently on Metformin, and I am trying to get on clomid, but been told need to loose some more weight!

Joined this sight to talk to people in a similar situation who fully understand the emotions I go through - from anger   to sadness  :'( to excitement, and people who also face the monthly torment of will it be this month?!

Welcome to FF, l1ndsay1234! This is a great website for support, information, laughter and friendship, it has kept me (relatively!) sane though all my treatment. I don't know how I would have coped without the lovely people here. Have a good look round the site, post in whatever section you want and make yourself at home. There are so many sections here with a huge amount of information, so whatever you are going through there will be someone here to help you.

I think everyone here can relate to all the emotions that you go through, it really is a rollercoaster. I don't know how my husband put up with me, I am sure I was unbearable! ;D I don't suffer from PCOS but I can certainly point you in the direction of the PCOS section - CLICK HERE I am sure the lovely ladies there will be able to help you. The first thread on that board is for ladies taking Metformin and the 2nd thread is the PCOS diet thread, that might be useful for support in losing that extra weight. Just pop on and say "Hi!"

You might find The What Every New Member Needs To Know (includes a list of common abbreviations) thread useful. It will give you some info on how to navigate the site ~ CLICK HERE

We also have a newbie night in the chat room every Wednesday where you can meet other new members and a few more experienced (I won't use the term "old"!) members will be there to answer any questions you have about the site. CLICK HERE FOR INFO ON NEWBIE CHAT

If you look on the main forum index you will find location boards. You can find others in your area, and even people going to the same clinic who will provide invaluable advice - some groups even have meet ups.

Please feel free to ask more questions here, or on any other part of the site, there will be wonderful helpful people there to give you lots of support, information and cyber hugs if you need it. We go through all the highs and lows of treatment together.

Good luck!!!! ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^ ^reiki^
