Hi, Iam new to Fertility Friends so pls bear wiv me whilst i get the hang of things!!!!
We are not starting our 2nd icsi until June..but I wondered if anyone could help?
I want to start accupuncture but the last accupuncturist i saw (just before our 1st icsi) wasn't all that clued up on infertility treatment and i wondered if any of u girls who may live in my area (Surrey) could recommend anyone?
I was elated that our treatment worked 1st time and then devestated when I m/c...I have about 5mths to really get prepared for our 2nd attempt and would be really grateful for any advice.
Thanxs...

Hi Moonstone

Welcome to FF

Sorry, I can't help with the acupuncturist... But I'm sure someone on here will have some ideas for you  :)  ..
Poss worth a start by asking your Consultant/Hosp/GP/Nurse ..
Do you have a health food/new age shop you could ask in, either is worth a shot   ;D

Hi Moonstone,

Welcome to Fertility Friends! The site and ladies have been a godesend and are always here if you are feeling down and need support!

Ceedubya (Claire) (from London Girls thread mostly and others!) lives in Hampton and I live in Ham, Surrey. She told me about an acupuncturist in Ealing and we are both seeing him now. He specialises in treating ladies going through IVF. I have had 2 sessions with him and he is very nice. I am seeing him another 3 times before EC and ET in February. He also works out of Harley Street in London - he is in Ealing on Mondays (and possibly works another day in Chiswick). I would recommend him if you dont mind the travel to Ealing. The website is http://www.chinesehealth.co.uk/ivf.htm (020) 8566 2223. You are going to think this is really bad, but I cant remember his name! I am terrible with names but think it is Daniel.

Claire also mentioned looking on www.acupuncture.org.uk. You may be able to find one that is closer to where you are if Ealing is not suitable.

I hope this helps!

Take Care,

Purpleal (Adrienne)
