Hi everyone - I originally signed up to FF back in November, after my third failed ISCI cycle, but am only just getting round to my first post.  I have found FF so helpful over the past few months, it certainly makes you realise you're not alone in this journey (it can sometimes feel very isolating).
My husband and I have been TTC for 3.5 years.  We had two failed ISCI cycles at an NHS hospital in Bristol (Jan/Feb & May/June last year), and were then advised to go to ARGC, which we did in October last year.  Unfortunately that cycle was also unsuccessful.  Our medical history is a little complicated - my husband had a vasectomy about 12 years ago, he had it reversed when we got married 3 years ago, but is now cursed with anti-sperm antibodies (apparently this is quite common after a reversal).  To add to that, I have crohns disease (CD), which was diagnosed when I was 20, I'm now 40.  The CD itself shouldn't be causing my fertility problems, but as it is an auto-immune disease there is a theory that this could be contributing to our failure to conceive.
ARGC discovered I have raised NKC and decided to treat this with steroids, clexane, aspirin and IVIG after my ET.  Unfortunately we still got a BFN.  We had a follow-up consultation 2 weeks after the BFN, and were told not to be too down (easier said than done), and all was not lost, there were still plenty of things they could do to help.  Which brings me to where we are today - Day 4 of stims, plus they've started me today on a 5 day course of Clomid, I start the Aspirin, Cetrotide and Clexane tomorrow.  Have also been having weekly acupuncture since last November.
Fingers crossed for 4th time lucky.

All the best for your 4th journey MBOND.

We have had 4 attempts at IVF/ICSI and happy to say 4th time we were lucky, I was diagnosed as having immune issues after the 3rd attempt. So this time I had immune treatment, and I really do believe that is reason we have a positive this time. Scan on the 10th.

Also had acupucture, and still am wouldn't have managed to get through it all without.

Not sure if you have read a book called is your body baby friendly by dr alan beer, it discusses immune issues including crones.  I would really suggest you read, I found it really helpful.

All the best on your journey.

Many thanks for your message Eva.

It's lovely to hear the success stories, and encouraging for me that you got your BFP on the 4th attempt.  Thanks also for the book suggestion - I will certainly have a read.

Take care, and good luck for your scan on the 10th.
