Hello lovely yorkshire ladies!!!

I am new to this site so if I'm doing this all wrong someone just kick me in the butt!!!

I am 25 and DF is 41 we have been trying for just over a year and a half now.

We have had: Day 1 and 21 bloods, rubella, full works for sti and DF has had his SA (still waiting results). I have low progesterone (2 months were done one was 15.8 the other was 13.3). All my other results are okay but we are waiting on DF's SA

What I want to know is:
How long does it take once you get the referral to the specialist?
Will they just send me back for all the tests again once we get there?

To be honest I am just really confused, I am sure that there are posts on here that answer my question but I wanted to just ask, so I do apologise if you guys have to repeat yourself.

We just are totally lost  really and neither of us know fully what to expect and I would feel better to hear from people with experience!!!

I think the wait can vary according to how busy Seacroft is - assuming you have been referred to Leeds.
But from my experience and what I've read from others on here it's often a couple of months.
And then you won't be asked to do all the tests again but probably a few. They might want to do another SA and they insist HIV & hep b&c tests be done within about 8 weeks before a cycle so you tend to need to do them before starting.
You will probably have an initial consultation to discuss your needs and situation and then could get started with treatment soon afterwards.
Good luck and if you are with seacroft you might want to join the Seacroft treatment thread- you don't need to wait till you've got started to do so!

Thank you gettina!!! Great to have a response. We have not been referred yet as the doc wants to wait for DF's results first....I have been in limbo since we started all the testing in January!

I'm just going to wait and then once we get there see what tests they want! I don't want to have any more or less than they need lol.
