Hi

I just wondered if you can help with a nut worry I have. I have been banning ALL nuts to the extent of checking packaging for nut traces but am finding it hard. Especially as DH has bought me a bar of fruit and nut.

It's just someone told me that its only peanuts that should be avoided and other nuts are actually good in pregnancy.

Can you put it straight for me??

I even threw away a 2 scoop ice cream from thorntons because when I looked at the sign it said may contain nut traces (It was MINT ice cream!)

Hi,

You'll end up starving yourself, as everything seems to contain nut traces at the moment!!!!!!  Just avoid eating huge bags of peanuts at a time, but you don't need to go mad checking all packets.  Go out and treat yourself to 3 scoops of thorntons ice cream tomorrow!!!!
