     Hi,

I know your cervix opens for ovulation & then closes & opens again shortly before AF,

I just wondered how soon before AF does that happen.. I am due on Sat & my cervix

is open so I know tcc has not worked this mth. My cervix opened about a week before AF

& I wondered if this was normal as it seems so soon , Would it open for AF & then close again

if implantation took place ( as with mine opening so soon it was even before implantation would

have taken place ). I know I am not pregnant this mth but its like I know its all over so soon

every mth as this happens a week before AF is due & so soon after ovulation.

           Thanks Katy. xxxxxxxxxx

Hiya madison

I'm not 100% but I was researching cervical positions , a 'pregnant' cervix is usually high, soft and closed i think but if you have had a child your cervix may always be open a little bit anyway.

It says on the websites you can't really use it as a possible pregnancy sign (unless you reguarly track your cp) as even if you were pregnant sometimes the cervix wouldn't go into that position untill a few weeks after the missed period.

Best of luck for you for testing tommorow hun  ^reiki^

I just read this post and would be interested to know more if anyone ever finds more out. I find it so hard to know or to tell the position of the cervix and worry about it alot sometimes.
