I am currently signed off work with stress and had been on Clomid for almost a yr and came of it in July. After seeing my consultant in September she advised that I would be moved onto daily injections. After a really stressful time at work i decided to put my treatment on the backburner.
I eventually gave up the ghost at work and decided to take some time off sick. So after a few weeks off i started to feel quite sick and so i thought i had a stomach bug it carried on for a couple of weeks and i wasnt actually sick just felt awful. My dh suggested that i do a test but i said it was very unlikle that i was pg as my cycle was all over the place with me not being on clomid anymore. My chest began to feel really tender but i just put this down to my period being on the way.
Eventually i gave in and done a test and turns out i have a
I phoned the fertility unit who asked me to come in and they would confirm with a scan, so the nect day i went and they confirmed i was 5 weeks pregnant
that was last week and i have been a nervous wreck since. I just cant believe it it was totally out of the blue and for it to happen naturally is a miracle.
So i am there next Wed for a 7 week scan to check for a heartbeat so fingers crossed our wee miracle baby is ok.
