Hi..

I'm on Clomid, my third month.  My last follicle tracking scan last thursday am showed a 16mm follicle and I was advised to that we should do it on the next night,Friday, and the Saturday, and that I would probably ovulate during the saturday night/ Sunday morning.  I then found that I had pains on Monday/tuesday.  At what size does the follicle normally release and do you get the pains after the follicle releases?  Help.. I'm scared we did it too early.
Thanks
Nadia

Ovulation can occur from follicles from 16mm upwards. Pains are normally at the point of ovulation but even though you felt them after having  ^BMS^ , sperm can stay in your system for up to 4 or 5 days so they would have still be around at the right time.

On the same subject I'm sure I read if the follice gets bigger than 22-23mm it's too mature and not as good.  If i didnt' ovulate until monday/tuesday.. then it was prob around 24-26!  Can anyone advise?
