I have stage 4 endo and have had my left ovary removed in august .
Pain has came back with vengeance as finished up with zolly last month.I gather it my cycle going to start again ,but i have really bad pains in left side (no ovary),really scunnered at this .Pain in legs are an on going thing ,getting up to take 2 tramadol just to sleep .
Had surgery in april and then back in august that was op no 6  :'( .Back at consultant in january to discuss hysterectomy .
Question has any of you had this ,i no i should be an old pro at this but I'm so fed up ..All I want for xmas is some pain free months .

Hi lainey

So sorry to read of your pain, how awful to have 2 ops, do you mind me asking how old your LO's are. congrats on the twins they look devine

Not sure i can help really, I had one ovary removed in 2004 prior to having my ds, after this, i still had pain there, quite often after ovarys are removed you can be left with adhesions

In August this year i had my 2nd ovary removed and do have some pain where that was removed but not as bad as what it was beforehand

Have you tried anything other than pain meds since having your twins, i note you started zoladex altho this could take a little time to kick in, have you tried anything other than the tramadol for pain, i think that if the tramadol arent helping then perhaps a review with your gp perhaps is in order

Have you ever seen a pain specialist maybe this is an avenue to explore

Hope that things improve

Hi Elaine

Oh hun you could be my twin!
I was on and off of zoladex and other treatments for 10 yrs prior to having my op in august, i still have my womb but both ovarys are now gone

Prior to having my DS i think hes about 8 months older than your twins, i saw a pelvic pain clinic there are only a few in the UK which was helpful, have you ever tried acupunctue or reflexology at all for the pain, i found it very relaxing and altho it didnt remove my pain i was more relaxed and slept better in all which helped (i had this on the NHS via physiotherapy referral via cons but your gp may be able to do this)

I ended up on fentanyl patches and oramorph in the end but not a route to go down until all other avenues have been exhausted and not a route many gp's are happy to go down

I hope that your able to get in with the GP very soon,

I can only really echo what holly said really.
As you can see by my tricker I have had 15 op's but I now have what they call a "frozen pelvis" this means all my pelvic organs are stuck together and surgery is a big risk unless i have a full hysterectomy and even then I could have damage to my bowel and bladder.
So I am not going down that road unless I really have to!!!

While I was having ivf treatment I always said to the scanner that I did not have a right ovary, but at the forth attempt they said I have a tiny right ovary!!!! Can you believe that, it actually grew back!!!!!
May be your ovary has also returned and is giving you the pain that you are in.

I do think that Holly and I could also be twins as I am on the same meds, fentanyl and oramorph.
These meds are very strong and do knock you out sometimes, but I try to just stick to only fentanyl if I can.
I don't know where I would be without it as it is the only drug that has worked for me.
I also had problems with zolladex and it never worked with me, it just made things worse.
I really hope your GP can help you and get you out of your pain misery.
I really do know where you are coming from.
Take care
