Hi

Im 6 wks pregnant and had a small amount of bright red bleeding at 4am.  I went to the clinic and they said that the scan looked normal, 2 heartbeats etc.  But they couldnt explain the bleeding.  When I got home I had brown discharge which I still have.  Can someone please tell me what has caused this and if it will happen again.
Worried as no one is advising me

Sometimes the body just thinks it should have a period because it normally does so bleeding can happen with no apparent reason but does not harm the pregnancy.
