Hi

Can anyone help as I am getting quite worried and depressed. I am 13 weeks pregnant and have always suffered from border line high blood pressure. (I'm not on any medication for it).
I am worried about getting pre-eclampsia, will I definitely get it because my blood pressure is high??

Also, my pulse is high, does this mean I am unfit??

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hollie

Hi Hollie

I had very high blood pressure from the onset of pregnancy, it does not mean you will get pre-eclampsia, your clinic will look after you and if like me they feel you will need medication to control you BP they will put you on it, don't worry about the medication it will not harm the baby in any way.

The best thing to do is try and relax, its the best cure for high BP

Enjoy your pregnancy hun
