I am on 12th fertility cycle have done 6 IUIs and this is my 6th ivf cycleM I have one beautiful daughter now 3 and a half conceived naturally and have had 2 misses in last 2 yrs. Have been diagnosed with POF am a really low responder ( am on day 11 +only have one follie size 18mm and have been injecting menopur X 6 amps + cetrotide + DHEA + prodnosine. Anyway I live abroad and I think from what I have read here that my dr doesnt really tailor my stimms acc to my needs I think its pretty standard here to treat everyone the same. I am reading and hearing such good things bout the lister and wld consider sacrificing myself financially for one cycle there if I was convinced they were going to do something diff and out of the ordinary. Can anyone tell me what theri success rates are for women in my position and how I would be treated as an overseas patient ie would I have to do my whole cycle over there? Basically I'm asking if u would recommend me going there for one chance?
Thabks for any replies xxx

Hi JBox, the Lister site has a pregnancy odds calculator you can use to help determine if it will be worth it for you:

There are plenty of ladies that are not London locals on the Lister Girls thread; they will have more advice with respect to making it work from abroad.

Good luck :)

Hi JBox, as Mixy says, lots of ladies cycle from overseas/other parts of the UK at the Lister (Italy, CI and Dublin to name but three places). You have your scans and bloods done at a local clinic which then need to be faxed to the Lister so they can decide on any changes to your protocol. The Lister has a number of Drs who specialise in PRs and there are various different protocols they use. I think someone said there are 12 which could be used but don't quote me!). I'll be on my 6th cycle this round too; sucks doesn't it? If I was in your position in this cycle, I'd probably consider cancelling and starting a fresh cycle. Just my opinion though!

All the best in whatever you decide to do.

Jo
