This isn't the first time I've seen this happen. Once down reg drugs have been started, it sometimes means that the body has to start the cycle again in a sense. First the drugs need to come out of the system and then your body builds up to ovulation and then af. So a cycle of even up to 5 or 6 weeks isn't unusual.
Either thing can happen after abandoned cycle, af straight away or what I have described above.
