Hi.
I wondered if anyone has had samples that have not survived the thaw but have gone on to get samples which had survived??
The history of my DH's samples are in my sig below...

I don't know, but I would imagine that if they think they will retrieve more by doing SSR then at least they will have more to choose from. What I mean is, I think they need a decent amount because there's always a % that doesn't survive. On our last ICSI they used 4 straws to 9 eggs, because they sift through them to find the ones that have survived.

I'm not making much sense, but basically trying to say, if they think they'll get more, hopefully some will survive as I believe it's normally to lose quite a % through freezing.
