my DD1 has been going to nursery since she was 10 months old but only for mornings...she is starting pre-school next week for 2 days 9 - 3.30pm.  She has just turned 3 and still has a daytime nap...I can't seem to get her to stop it!  Just wondered if anyone else has had a LO like this and how they coped?  I am hoping she can keep going at school and will flake out and be in bed super early!  If it can get any earlier as she goes at 6pm now!  I guess she needs to get used to this and will drop her nap soon anyway?

Wow your little one sleeps well! Sean naturally dropped his daytime naps at around 2 1/2 and if he does nap he's up until 8.30ish and he usually goes to bed at 7. I'm sure your LO will just keep on going at pre-school as all her friends will be there are there will be far to much to be had! Maybe you could see if there is a quiet area for her to have a rest after lunch not necessarily sleep but just to relax in ready for the afternoon activities?

thanks Mel....she sleeps better now we did have a blip when Grace was born and I started putting her to bed later...but have realised she sleeps better the earlier she goes 

I will ask at school if she can have a 'rest' if possible!
