Hi there, I am new to this so here goes.....
I am 38 and have 11year old DS from previous marriage.  DPhas two adult children from prevoius marriage. DP 57, had vasectomy 10 years ago.  He had a PESA in Aug 10, no sperm found, enquiry to Manchester clinic for a TESA but they warned that because of small testes there would be <25% chance of find any sperms.  The consultant advised also that if retrieved sperms they may not survive freezing and if went ahead with TESA this could affect DP testosterone levels in future. Feeling that advice was quite negative don't know which way to go...... Anyone out there had similar experience or decided to go ahead despite negative advice ?

(This is a breakdown of the procedure of IVF which is the same as ICSI up until the point of fertilization, With ICSI the embryologist injects one good sperm into one good egg, and repeats until all are used. So it gives them a helping hand, with IVF the eggs and sperm are left to fertilize by themselves)
