The last 2 times we've gone more than 10 mins in a car DD has been travel sick  . I suffered from this pretty much up until I learnt to drive (which seemed to cure it  ) so I am so concerned about the years of utter misery she (and we) may have ahead. I am now totally dreading any journeys we may have to make - and its 15 mins from here to the nearest town...


I used the wrist bands which worked like magic for me. Maybe moving to a forward-facing seat would help? Would love to know if anyone had any experience of this in a child so little, and did you find anything to help?

not with a child so little...sorry. but i use (and i think children can,though not probs babies) nelsons travellella from boots. so maybe useful for future ref (herbal and non drowsy)

DS1 was terrible and still can be if he doesn't concentrate on the road. He now has an understanding of looking out of the window and not reading or playing with anything. I see on your other post that you are planning to move the girls into forward facing seats. I must have big bruisers as both the boys out grew their first car seat by 6 months old!
I think facing her forward will definately help. My friend simmers ginger and lemon in water over a low heat and then gives it to her son to drink - she swears by it
