Hi all

Not sure where to post this ...

What did you all do with your unused baby food jars once your baby was past that stage?  I have quite a stock of unused baby food which is not needed any more.  I have to cook now!

I feel it is a waste to just bin it all and I'd  like to give it away to a charity (?) but not sure if anyone takes baby food?  Have found somewhere that takes general tins but not baby food ...

Anyone any ideas?
Thanks

Thanks

Hi,
What about trying to find a local mother & baby hostel or offer it on Freegle or something similar.

You could always ask your HV if she knows anywhere that could use it or, if you go to any Mum's and Tot's groups etc, see if anyone there can use them.

Sometimes the shop where you bought it may take it back
I took back some of the jar food my baby did not like to tesco and they took it back
They have a way o check that the seal is still intact

I was going to say pop to your local social services childrens services dept and ask them to pass them on to the local womens hostel.  Take to local mums and toddlers group and see if anyone wants them? Saying that I put mine on the netmums site (free section) and they were gone in hours.
