Hi All,

Hoping someone can help. Been ttc with dh for 3 years now, went to see GP last year and was diagnosed with prolactinoma and been on bromocriptine for the past 12 months.s prolactin levels are fine now but GP wants another round of blood tests. Assuming they comeback good again does anyone know what sort waiting lists there are in wandsworth for funded ivf?

Thanks again.

Hi hopeful

Wandsworth PCT commission ivf from St Helier hospital. The PCT website should have the commissioning document which shows their ivf policy. Generally PCTs will fund 1 cycle if you are below a certain age, around 38 or 40 yrs. PCTs are meant to follow NICE Guidance which states 3 cycles, but many don't as they have to cut funding, particularly this year. In terms of waiting list, you should call the ivf unit at St Helier directly, to give you some idea.

Good luck
